Extreme Ring Action was founded by Justyn Michael and Jason Lemke in early 2015. ERA debuted August 2nd, 2015 with our very first event entitled "Extreme Arrival". The main event saw Matt Cross defeat Joey Ryan to become the very first ERA Heavyweight Champion. That same night, Justyn Michael defeated Brian Vig to become next in line for a championship match. December of 2015 Michael Hyde would win "The All Out Rumble" Battle Royal to become the first ERA United States Champion. March 2016 Matt Cross was finally defeated by Justyn Michael. Less than one week later Extreme Ring Action was a featured attraction at the 2016 Extreme Thing Sports & Music Festival at Desert Breeze Skate Park on April 2nd, of 2016. The Extreme Thing main event featured new champion Justyn Michael successfully defending the ERA Championship against Sinn Bodhi. ERA also briefly ran a television series on the KGNG network called Fury TV, which featured the stars of ERA in pre-recorded matches. The pair of Justyn Michael and Michael Hyde represented ERA in Episode 1 of Noize TV, in a segment filmed at Extreme Thing that aired on the KGNG network as well. In late 2016 Jason Lemke would cut ties with Extreme Ring Action to move onto other business ventures. Justyn Michael then became full owner of Extreme Ring Action and would vacate the ERA Heavyweight Championship as he did not want to be Heavyweight Champion of a promotion he was now the owner of. In early 2017 Justyn Michael decided to move himself, his company, and his family to the state of Michigan. June 23rd, 2018 it was officially announced that Extreme Ring Action would debut in Flint, Michigan with nearly an entire new roster of talent. Justyn Michael has since retired from Professional Wrestling to focus on being ERA's promoter. He also purchased a new 18x18 foot wrestling ring for ERA and is now running company in it's new home.
